We are proud to announce that Forsyth Medical Center and Novant Health have become the exclusive Health Care Presenter for Moores Springs Trails. This is a big step in our goal to include more diverse voices and partners in the development of events at MST. This partnership will allow us to better sustain our growing trail network and expose more people to the benefits of trails, mountain biking, and trail building in the health of our local community.
FMC will also begin to provide free health care screenings at selected upcoming events and will make available their team of community educators. We will also be offering opportunities to meet with physical therapist and athletic trainers at the trails to provide injury assessments, health and training advice.
FMC will play a strong supporting role in our upcoming IMBA Trail Care Crew visit (March 29, 30, 31) by introducing their staff to trail building at this professional trail building seminar.
This collaboration will bring more people to enjoy our trails and learn the value of out sport and passion as well as provide the local biking community with better access to health care and sports medicine advice. Together, we are working to make this a better place to play to work and to live.
